addamidiom is more than the collected public projects and propaganda of a disc jockey, promoter, and artist. It is but a single lens through which a personal vision is focused - one inspired of, for, and by the creative individuals who share a collective vision of Quality and mastery of expression.

addamidiom:productions was 'founded' in 2001, with the mission of encouraging collaboration among the Boston and New England alternative arts and music cultures. The first SubStance event was held that in that year, one of a string of local benefit concert, arts, and fashion shows to follow.

The goals of addamidiom:productions are multifaceted and interwoven. Development plays a key role in the process - furthering the reputation of fine musicians, composers, and artists, drawing attention to social issues faced by economically challenged but dedicated creatives, and supporting the cutting edge and avant-garde.

At the roots level, the principals of independence, 'diy', and dedication to Quality begine to define the idiom. Here the fine arts are represented as the result of an undeniable need within the artists to create, come feast or famine. This is the shared inspiration and philosophy of the Muses, of the Bohemian and the Bauhaus, of 'DaVinci' and the Dadaists.

The visitor is encouraged to support their local art and music scenes, whatever their personal taste, in whatever way their means allow.
