Whether in motion or repose, the contours of the body allow light and shadow to create movement and expression that transcends the static image. In this series, emphasis is placed on compositon, form, and contrast. There is also a strong influence of sculpture, mythology, and personified animal forms on this group. Though not as blatantly symbolic as the reflections series, these photographs are emotionally evocative, sensitive, and sensual.
